Jackson is borne after being confined to Wingham. Hospital for several weeks. Rey. and Mrs. .1..4E. Taylor, Holstein, visited Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fischer and Mrs Mac Engel • Mr, and Mrs. Don Jacklin, Tracy and Danny of Bloomingdale, were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs; Earl Dunn. Perrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. JohnA. Perrie„ has been working at • the. University of Toronto since completing :hi s studies for the term. Following this he will go .to the Columbia State Univer- sity, Ohio, where he will be work- ing . for the remainder of the hOlidays. Mrs. Stanley Fischer and Mrs. Stuart Stevenson attended the June Conference of the W.M.S, at Exeter on June 2. Cranbrook W. I. Meeting Entertain Guests The Cranhrook W. 1, met in the Community Centre for the June meeting and entertained guests from Walton, Ethel, Molesworth, Brussels, Moncrieff and Cran- brook. The meeting opened with the Ode, Mary Stewart Collect. and Lord's Prayer. The roll call was answered by 18 members naming the fabric of which their dress was made, Mrs. Clare Veitch read the minutes and the treasurer's report was given by Mrs. Frank Workman. Correspond ence included a tharik-yoz: note and' an invitation, te..Blyth Insti- tute for July '7th at 8 p.m. A don- ation of ten dollars will be. given to the Ladies' Division of, the Fair. Mrs, Wm, Humphries, "Swinging : Separates" presented a skit "Cottons for casual wear". 'Those taking part were Bonnie Bremner, Darlene Ducharine, and Janet Veitch. Mrs. John Strickler con, ducted an interesting Quiz and a relay. The meeting closed with "The Queen". Institute Grace was sung and lunch served under the couvenership of Mrs. Urban Ducharme and Mrs. Ma' Bray. W.M.S. Afternoon Group June Meeting Mrs. John Schnook was leader for the Afternoon Group of the: W,M.S. held at the home of Mrs, John A. Perrie. The meeting open, Walton, reported that the pro- grams were a the printers. Mrs, gram. Cranbrook 4-H Club I ed with the motto for W. M. S. Acts 4: 1-16 was read in unison and a meditation given by the leader, Mrs. Clare Veitch led in Prayer, and a reading "Profit or Loss" was given by Mrs. Perrie. Mrs. Wilfred Strickler presided for the business. Minutes were read by Mrs: Mac Engel in the absence of the secretary, Mrs. Stanley Fischer. Offering was received and cards and visits re- corded. An invitation from Monk, ton to attend their Thank-Offering was read. A questionaire was filled in. The roll call was answer- ed with a verse containing the name of a flower. The treasurer reported on the expense fund and 820 supply money to be sent in June, A reading "God's call for Serenity" was giyen by Mrs, Mac Engel. The topic "Imperative Message, Fractured Man" was in charge of Miss Alice J. Forrest.
