U.C.W. Meeing
The 17th and Boundary Unit of
the U.C.W. of Duff'S United
Church held their: May meeting
on 'Wednesday afternoon at the
home 'of Mrs. Jan van Vliet Sr,
-Mrs. Harold Smalldon opened the
meeting with it poem and offered,
prayer, followed by the reading of
the scripture from Acts 2: 1-13
15-23, A hymn was sung. Mrs. van
Vliet chose as the topic "Christ
Ascension". Mrs. Harvey Craig
read a poem entitled "A clothes:
hamper full of proinises". The
offering was taken and dedicated
by hymn 374. Mrs. van Vliet gave
a. reading from the "AscenSion
Song". A hymn was sung and
prayer closed the devotional
period, Mrs. Harvey Craig took
charge of the business, The Min-
utes were read by the secretary
13 members answered the Roll
Call. The treasurer's report was
given. A delegate was requested
to attend Alma. College, Our mill'
are to put flowers in the church
for the month of Jtily. Mrs. C.
Ritchie gave the report froje the
s.upper committee meeting, The
next meeting is to be held at, the
home of Mrs. Sohn Bos With Mrs.
Roy Willicensan and Mrs. 'George
