Shower For Bride-Elect
A miscellaneous shower arrang-
ed by neighbours was held for
Miss Janis Smith, whose marriage
takes place this month. The Oran-
brook 'Community Centre was
decorated with streamers, and
bells and guests• signed a guest
book on arrival. " Janis and her
mother, Mrs. Joe Smith, along
with Mrs. Ken Bray, mother of
the groom-to be were seated and
'corsages pinned on them. Several.
entertaining contests were con-
ducted by Mr. Ken Fischer, Mrs.
Maurice Cameron and Mrs. Leslie
Knight. Miss Marie Lake read an
address and many beautiful and
useful gifts were presented to the
bride-elect:. Janis thanked every.
one, especially those who had
arranged the shower. A social
time was followed by lunch.
