COLD WATER FISHERMEN
SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS
Fishermen now have their boats
in the water and wetting-a line for
the first tittle this season. The
greatest hazard these „early fisher-
men face is the ehance of falling
into deadly cold water,
The Ontario Safety -League
states that anyone using a, boat
on cold water should take the
erecaution of Wearing protectiVe
clothing and some type of
flotation device. The worst thing
a person can do if there is any
likehtiod : of having to survive in
cold water is to wear light cloth-
ing. The average fisherman's
clothes worn during the early
spring months, usually warm.

1971 CENSUS and ENUMERATION
The Huron-Perth Regional Assessment Department will be
,c.ommencing its annuai census. and enumeration programme
in• the City of Stratford, Town of St. Marys on April 19th
in the municipalities in Perth County on April 21st and
in'the Municiipalities in Huron County on April 28th. It
is expected that It will take approximately three weeks
to - complete the necessary calls.
The inforMation required is basically the same as that
required last year, and is necessary for the completion
of the assessment roll for each municipality.
AB enumerators involved in this programme carry iden-
tification cards, so pleaSe do not hesitate to ask to
see these before answering questions or divulging any in-
' formation.
