Stanley McDonald preached. Euchre Party Held Sixteen tables took part in the euchre party on April 5th, held in the Community Centre. held a t. the home of Mrs. Lytle. Gordon with nine members attend- ing. An Easter meditation "Do you know Him?" and brief prayer were given by the leader, Mrs. Mae Engel, The. Easter Worship Service from the Glad Tidings was Used and readings "Easter's Joy- ous Message of Hope," by Mrs. Calvin Cameron, and "Easter Everywhere" by Mrs. Lytle 'Gordon. An interesting and timely topic from a sermon by Rev. Opperman, Kitchener, was given by Mrs. Wilfred Stricklet The, roll call was -an Easter 'verse. Miss Alice J. Forrest recorded cards and visits. The treasurer, Mrs. John Petrie, told of the 1971 Alloeation, An invitation from the Evening Group to their social evening on April 13th was read. Follewing the closing prayer two contests were conducted by the leader, "Old Testament Charact- ers" and "Birds",. Lunch com- mittee Mrs. John Schnook and Miss Alice J. Forrest assisted the hostess with refreshments. ETHEL Mrs, Blanche Dobson visited Mr and Mrs. 'Win. Dobson and family on GOod Friday.
