Fear not. The law makers were
thinking of you. .You are correct
in the width of 102 inches but the
Inghway Traffic Act states that

the police have 'nothing against
farm boys and girls driving farm
tractors on a. highway and I have
met a few of those that yoti
describe but they are under the
age of 10 Remember. the police do
not make the laws, they are hired
to enforce thorn and the Highway
Traffic Ac states that n.0 Person
under the age of 16 years shall
drive or operate a. motor vehicle
or farm tractor on a. highway, but
this does not apply to the driving
or operating of. a farm. tractor
directly across the highway,
QUESTION:.
Our son wants us to purchase a.
motor bike for him when he pas-
ses, We can afford it but want to
make sure be can ride. and drive
one before he gets his licence.
How does he go about getting
temporary permit?
ANSWER:
If the lad is 16 you may obtain
a temporary instruction permit
to learn to drive a motor vehicle
but there is no temporary permit
for a motor hike or cycle. If the
lad Wants to learn to ride, he must
do it other places than on high.
