STATUS OF WOMEN
150 women teachers from all
Over Ontario, Presidents of their
local Women's teachers' assoc-
iations, attended a conference at
the Park Plaza 1-lotel in Toronto,
January 22 and 24. sponsored by
the Federation of Women Teach-
ers' Association of Ontario. The
Federation represents 34,000
women teachers in the province's
elementary public schools.

the recent report of the Royal.
Commission on the Status of

the Ontario Department of
Labour.
The conference closed with a
speech by Judith Parris Of Wok-.
ingharn, England, a former
teacher, leader and author of a
number of articles on women's.

women teachers and teachers'
organizations.

FOR F. E. MADILL SECONDARY SCHOOL-
Wingham, Ontario
Duties to commence March let or as soon thereafter as possible. The
successful applicant will have proven experience in operation and
repair of a wide variety of audio visual equipment, including record
players, tape recorders, video tape recorders, film projectors, etc. The
applicant will he in charge of the closed circuit television system in
the school.
Salary is negotiable, based on acceptable related experience and
vrlll be in the $5,500 — $7,500 range.
Board reserves the right to reject any or all applications. Selected
applicants will be interviewed the week of February 15th to 19th.
