GUIDE NEWS
&intended for last week)
The meeing was opened with
the game "Floor Hockey", We
formed our patrols and then our
horseshoe where we were inspect-
ed. We went to our Patrol corners
where we discussed our Christ-
mas Party, and the float for the
Santa Claus parade. We also drew
names for the Christmas Party
next week.
After that we went into our
Guide Corner and did our guide
work,
We had no campfire so the
meeting was -.i.ljourneri.
GOLDEN WORDS
IF EVERY DAY WERE
CHRISTMAS
If PverY day were Christmas
How different life would •
If not one day hut all the year
Were ruled by charity.
Bad we the faith in miracles
A child has Christmas morn
Each day would be love's manger
And Christ would he. reborn
In us again to change and heal
Our outworn wars and ways. —.
Had ref; a child's or shepherd gift..
For wonsierment and praise!
Yet every day is Christmas
When we have learned to live
By love's law, learned not to get
'But Only bow to give:
And like a, child can wonder,
• And like a. child can pray,
