the sum of $•29,000 to be deposited
In a trust fund, the earnings from
which is to proyide scholarships
to pupils who have graduated
from the Brussels Pnblic School
for purpose of enabling them to
attend university or school of
higher learning after gradnating
from any secondary school.

Branch of the Bible Socnety met
at the bome of Gerald Gibson on
Prkday, October 15th, to make
plans for this year's canvass. The

The Western Ontario distriet of
the Bible Society has been chal-
lenged to accept the nrovision of
25,000 Bibles in II30 for Biafara,

On Thursday of last week the
Brussels Boys' soccer team play-
ed the Grey Central BoyS. Grey
Central won 1 - 0.
On the sante day the Brussels
Girl's soccer team played Grey
centre)) 'Girls. The Brussels Girls
won 1 - 0. The game was played
at Grey Central School.
We have a new pupil in Grade
7 _,who is from Clinton Public
SCIkool. His name is Ric,ky Bell.
Steven Brown and his family
have moved away, going back
to England. They sailed Tuesday.

There will be a costume dance
this Friday, OctOber 30th. Admis-

took place Friday after school.
