Ken has gotten to know Harry,
his neighbourhood mechanic,
pretty well.
Because Ken has spent
a small fortune keeping his
old car running. -
But one look at his .
latest estimate was enough
to convince him that Harry
was right all along.
He did need a new car.
Now if he only had
$3,000 to buy one.
Ken should come to the
Commerce and arrange for
a Bankplan loan. Then he'd
only see Harry for gas.

Candelabra graced the altar
and white satin bows marked the
guest pews for the ceremony. The
Wedding music was played. by
Mrs. Meryin Lush.
• Gives in marriage by her father.,
the bride wore a princess style
white organza gown with scooped
neckline. The long sleeves and
her train -Were fashioned of
Chantilly lace .and the elbow
length silk illusion veil was held
by a tiara of crystal, She carried,
a cascade of red roses, white
carnations and leather tern.
Miss Mary Hurworth was the
maid of honor, Miss Florence
Timmins, the bride's cousin, and
Miss Diane 1-lunking. sister of the
bride, were the bridesmaids, bliss
'Debbie Bunking, also the bride's
sister, was the flower girl. The
attendants were gowned in lime
green crepe chiffon over taffeta.
Green bows enhanced their hair
'and they carried . cascades of.
yellow and white shasta mums.
The groom's brother,. Mr, Doug
McLean, was tire best man and
the ushers were Mr. Kenneth
McLean and Mr, James .flunking.
Following the• wedding a re-
ception was held at Blantyre
Cerrimunity Centre, the parents of
the bride.. and groom and the
bridal party receiving- the guests.
wearing a pink dress , of Lures=
threaded rayon knit, with itiee
coat, and corsage of pink roses.
and white stephanotis. The
groom's mother wore .a wine
jersey dress, black accessories,
and corsage of white carnations.
Candles and. pink and white
streamers decorated • the bride's
table which was centred•With the
three-tier wedding cake, triniinea
to match the colotirs•of the gowns
and flowers,

plresent from Toronto, London,
StratfOrd, Kitchener, Durhatr.4
