Each year they become more popular with exhibitors and a healthy increase in the number of entries has been recorded for the the western and open horse shows. Prize money„ includ- ing the junior horse show, totals approximately $9,500 plus entry fees for stake race. Site for all horse shows is the Ontario Arena. The western, horse show takes place Sept. 11 to 13. Due to the heavy entries, fair officials an- nounced that. four classes 'were being divided, with the same prize money offered for each division. TheSe are the stake race. clover'-leaf barrel race open and nag race open. Judge is Herb. 'To' ers of Brantford. Shows on Sept 11 and 12 cowl/lance' at 7 p.m., with the Sunday show at 2 p.m. The open horse show follows from Monday to Friday, Sept. 14 to 18 at 7 p.m. Judges are David E.
