AREA BEEF PRODUCERS
TO GET CANFAX, SERVICE
The la-aro/1 County Beef: Im-
provement. Association in cooper-
ation with' the Ontario Beef 1m-
provement Association is organ-
izing a. new market information
and price reporting system for
area beef producers. The service,
called Canfax, is operated using
telecommunication machines that
are rented from C.N. or C.P. telex.
The prOposed system will he
coordinated with present existing
aystems in Canada and the TT,S.
covering Calgary, Chicago, Omaha
and Toronto markets,
A membership fee will be
charged to the producer. The sys-
tem then w ill supply him with
up-to-date market reports on feed-
er and finished cattle from major
Canadian and U.S. community
sales and terminal markets, also
live and dressed sales direct to
packers on finished cattle. The
producer member blast also re-
port all purchases, sales; con-
ditions of each and monthly in-
Ventory, to the System, A weekly
tepott and Market analysis be
mailed to the members.

The Kansas Farmer and Clark
Johnston will entertain at the
official opening of Paradise
Family Park, at 3 p.m. on Sunday,
August. 16th.

ville, will be conducting the ser-
vice in Knox Presbyterian Murrell
on Sunday morning. August 16th,
at eleven o'clock.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn, Mr.

Bonita, and Mr. and Mrs. Don
Joeklin, Tracy and Danny, 13100m-
ingdale, are spending a week at
floysville.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Engel, Chris-

stook, visited with Mrs. Mac
Engel on Sunday. Miss Christine
Engel remained for the week.

and Susan were holidaying at
Bayrield last week.
Carman Fischer, Kingston, was
home for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knight and
Sons, Toronto, visited the Knight
families last week.

Joseph's Hospital. London. are

are patients in Seaforth Hospital.
