grass is actually growing, the tem-
perature struggles to the sevent-
les, and even dandelions are being
welcomed by winter-weary resi-
dents. Inevitably, accompanying

for over eight months, the blue

this threat be held over the

desire to learn should be kindled
during those last months, espec-
ially in 'Grade 12 and 13 students
beading for college or university,
not stomped on Or pht out by
nothing but borectOtt!
Why can't seminars be held in
history, geography, or liiiaglish?
Why can't a few studente really
Interested in Math or chemistry
be given a program for advanced
study, if they wish. and learn by
themselves? And, why, why, does
everything we do, except. hiring
our fingernails, have to be mark-
