Williamson who is attending a summer course in 'Galt spent the weekend at the hone of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Herb Williamson, Mrs. Jen :MeArthar, Seaforth. visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Huether and family. Sandra and Janice Webster, daughters of Mr. and .Mrs. Grant R. Webster of Varna., spent a few days last week holidaying with Steven and John Huether. Mr. and Mrs. Ray linether visited on Tuesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Packe at, their cottage near Bayfield. Church. Unit Meeting The 17th and, Boundary Unit of the (I.O.W. held their July meet- ing Thursday afternoon, July 2nd, at ' the :home, of Mrs, Herb Williamson, Mrs. William Murray opened the devotional period with a thought. for the afternoon, fol- lowing with prayer. She chose John, 14th chapter, verse 4 as the scripture then road a poem on this scripture entitled "Jesus is the Way". Hymn 502 “What Friend We Have In Jesus" was sung. Mrs. Murray then read a poem " God Bless Canada". Mrs, Herb Williainspn gave the topic, entitled "He Spoke". Mrs. Martin 13aan presided over the business. Plans were made for a bridal Sholwer for bride-elect, Miss. Linda Johnston on Thursday evening, July 16th; in the basement: of the ehitrch. A Thank-you note Was react froth Mrs. Cliff :Ritchie. We were also reminded of the in- vitation to the Members of the unit and their families to attend the Fischer - Johnston wedding reception to he held in the Brus- sels Legion Halt on Saturday even- ing, July 25th, There will he no meeting in August. The Septemb- er meeting is to he held at the home oflrrs. Harkey Craig. Mrs.: George Williamson thanked every- one for their help and gifts on, the night of their 40th Anniversary.
