HONORED JUNE BRIDE
About 1.25 friends and neigh-
bours met in the Anglican Church
basement, and showered Marlene
Smith with many lovely, useful
gifts.
The church was traditionally
decorated with baskets of flow-
ers, white bells and pink and
white streamers.
The bride-to-he, her mother,
sister and grandmother and Mrs.
Yuill, mother of the groom, were
presented with' corsages anti seat-
ed in gaily decorated chairs.
A bride's book 'was passed and
Pauline MeCutcheou was in
charge of the guest book,
Everyone joined in, a sing song
led by Sarah Stephenson and
Vonne McCutcheon. Irma Price
gave a humOrous reading and
Margaret Bernard' conducted an
interesting._ contest.. A comedy
skit was pi•esented by Bud
Thompson, Betty Bronson. Irene
Richmond, Sarah Stephenson an d
Barb iVicCutcheon.
