Wedding Anniversary
On Thursd.„r evening. June 4th,
a very euloyable' everting was held
in the Wolton Community Hall
to honor Mr. and Mrs. GeOrge
Williamson on the occasion of
their 40th wedding anniversary.
There Were 95 guests present and
the evening' , was spent playing
euchre with Mr. and Roy
Williamson in charge. Prize win-
ners were for high lady, MisS,
Marion 'McCallum, low lady; Mrs.,
Norman Williamson, high gent,
Rennie 'McCallum, low gent, Alf
Johnson. The social evening fol-
towed with Mrs. Harold McCallum
acting as master of ceremonies for
the program, which consisted of.
musical numbers by ,Gra ern e
singing with his guitar and :VIrs.
ldntmerson Mitchell played several
selections on the violin. Miss
Marion McCallum sang a solo and
Mrs. Martin Bean gave a reading,
Mn'. and Mrs. C. Williamson were
asked to come to the front of the
hall when an address was read by
Mr's. Bert. Clark, and many beauti-
ful gifts were presented by ilarold
'McCallum and Cliff Ritchie on
behalf of the neighbours end
friends. Kenneth ShOldice and
Arthur McNaughton presented
gifts from relatives. Mr. William-
son made a fitting reply for all
the lovely gifts arid cards for
their a,npiversary and a special
thanks was extended to all those
who helped with the evenings
activities. A delicious 'lunch was
served by the neighbourhood
ledies, 'Guests were present from
London, Clinton, SeefOrth. List-
owel, Monkton and Brussels, Con-
gratulations are extended to the
\Villiarnsons from. the Walton
COMmunity.
