COUPLE HONORED ON THEIR 25th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr, and Mrs. Robert Crosby, RR 4, Brussels, were honored on. Saturday evening June 0th, at their Morris Twp. farm home by relatives on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. 'The home was gaily (1,tcorated by the guests in attendance for the event. with pink and white streamers and hells along with a novel "bride and groom'' centre- piece and a cake outlining the figures —2T)". The cake featured silver trim with white and pink symbolizing the silver an. niversary. The exterior of the home and the yard were also ad- orned with placards and decor- ations in honor of the event. During the evening's activities the couple were the recipients of a "book of 111 ories" which had • been designed by relatives •and gave..a detailed account of their lives since childhood. The pries- entation and address were given by Mrs. Jess Christensen of Lon- don, Listowel, 13eigrave, - Waterloo, • Guelph, Thorndale and ArVa. They Were also presented with a cor- sage and boutonniere, along with 'British Interior Transportation tickets for a tip planned for the British Isles in 1971. The presen- tation and address were given by their son. Robert Mann of Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. Mann were mar- ried june. 18, 3930 by Rev, J. M. Nicol at the Know Presbyterian Church manse, Listowel. Mr. Mann was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Mann, Monkton, while Mrs. Mann was the former Pearl Bowes. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs, Robert Bowes of the Trowbridge area, They farmed on the 16th con, of 'G'rey until 1968 when the Mann homestead was purchased by their son, William A. Mann. 'The couple presently are renting the Harrison borne at RR 1, IVIonkton, Active in community affairs, Mr. Mann was a former Public School trustee and former Member of Grey Tewnship council, He is also a member of Brussels Legion Pine Band, The couple have one daughter, Mrs, Harold (Marion) Roberts, of Listowel and twin sons, Robert A.
