He died after a long illness, Mr Ainlay was active in .polit- ical and municipal affairs for many years. Mr. Ainlay also active in tile United Church, belong7 ed to a number of organizations. L ie was preSident of the Teachers' Alliance and national president of the Native Sons of Canada. Mr. Ainlay was married in ,l9.1,1 to the fortAer Edith Hamilton, who died in 1D5-9, He is survived by his ,second wife. Jean.
