Evans, have returned home from
a honeymOon spent in Florida and
have taken ups residence In
Brussels.
William J. Alderion
William John Alderson passed
away in the Hillerest Rest Home,
AR 5, Stratford on Wednesday,
March 4th, in his Mb year. He
was a son of the late Charles and
Caroline Rann of Cranbrook. He
is survived by One sister (Lucy)
Mrs. Gorge Ballantyae, RR 2,
Stratford, and several neleen and

W.M.S. 'Afternoon Group
Miss Alice .1. Forrest. Was host-
ess for the regular monthly meet-
ing of the. Afternoon Group of the
W„M,S. The leader. Mrs. Earl
Dunn opened the meeting with a
poem and a hymn. All joined in
reading T Peter 4: 1-n., followed
by a meditation "The end is the
beginning" by 'Airs. Dunn and
prayer. A reading "The loom of
time" was given by Mrs. Clare
Veitch and Mrs. Mac Engel gave
reading front the 'Glad Tid-
ings. An interesting topic on "The
Chinese in canada" was given by
Mrs. John :Perrie and a part
taken by Mrs. Lylle Gordon. Mrs.
Wilfred Strickler presided for
the business when minutes were
read and cards and visits record-
ed. A Koverb was given for roll
call and allocations were given by
the treasurer, Mrs. Perile. Sever-
al current events: Were read and
Mrs.. Clare :Veitch: read a. poem
"A March Garden" which was
composed by her neice Mrs'.
Stager of Lorne Park, Ont. and
appeared in the March issue of
the "Glad Tidings". A W.M.S.
Executive meeting was announced
