phries in place of Mrs. Don Achilles
who was unable to be present.
Duff'c Congregational Meeting
The: Annual Congregational
Meeting of •Duff's 1Tnited Chureh
\vas held Thursday evening. Jan-
uary 22. at 8:30 p.m.. in the base-
ment of the church. Owing to so
much flu in the community. the
(utendance was very small.
Rev. 'P. Docken chaired the meet-
ing, opening with the singing of
hymn 441, "Guide me. 0 Thou
Great Jehovah", with Mrs. Camp-
bell Wey as pianist. The minister
chose as Iris Scripture reading,
Paul's first letter of Corinth, fol-
lowed by prayer. There was, a 'min-
utes silence in Memory of the
members that had passed 'away in
the last year.
Mrs. T-tarvey Craig Was appoint-
ed secretary for the Meeting, Re-
ports were given and accepted as
read. Business was attended to.
Tribute was paid to Mr. Martin
Bean for all his many year's as
superintendent of the Sunday
School, Nomiations are still Open
for his. replacement,.
Rev. Docken :has chose the
