erty" was taken by Mrs, Doug

Lord's Prayer repeated in unison.

The fourth meeting of the
Nimble 'Thimbles was held at the
home of Bonnie ,Bremner, It open
ed with the 44-"I pledge followed
by roll call. Janet 'Witch read the
minuteS. The Use of the feather-
Stitch was discussed and what to
make for freechoice articles was
decided. The leaders demonstrated
the chain and lay daisy stitched,
The girls practied these stitched
and the Meeting closed With the 4-

The. Ladies' Aid of Knox Church
met at the home of Mrs Gordon
Engel. The president, Mrs. Stuart.
Stevenson, opened the meeting
with a poem. Mrs. Douglas Evans
read Psalm 95 and a Thanksgiv-
ing prayer was given by Mrs. Mac
Engel. Mrs. Wilfred Strickler,
secretary, read the minutes- and
called the roll which was answer-
ed by "What I Telt undone to come
to the meeting". The e treasurer's.
report was given by Mrs Stuart
McNair. A letter from Miss Clara
McGowan, local director for the .
Children's Aid Society of Huron
County was read and ten dollars
was voted to this work. The work
of the Sunday School was discus-
sed and the group agreed to . help
with obtaining necessary supplies.
