A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Knitter, he was born in Hrey Township in 1905. Owing to ill health, he retired. -as bank manager of the. Brink of NtOotreal., Hounslow Heath and 5t. Clair, Toronto, in 1966. He was a member of the Kings- vay Lodge A.E. and A.M. No. 655 tad the Canadian Progress Club, hie is survived by his wife, the ormer Blanche Archer; -a daughter, Mrs. T. Moore; a brother, Welland, and sister, Mrs. Win, (Irene) Campbell. Funeral services took place on Thursday afternoon at one o'clock in the Humber Valley United Church.
