"Radio drama isp't play acting: „it's re-living people." That's
been the credo of CBC radio drama supervisor, Esse W. Ljungh
since the mid '30s ..when he began his acting-producing career
with the Corporation. Since then, the Swedish-born man for all
theatre has produced ..hundreds of plays ..for the Stage series,
CBC Tuesday Night, television, as Well as school broadcasts and
opera. He hat won many awards and honors for the CBC: his
contribution to Canadian radio drama and his encouragement
of Canadian talent 'is immeasurable. This August, when he will
be 65, Ljurigh retires from the cBC. But his heavy schedule is
