the top priced junior bred gilt at
the 26th anneal consignment sale
of purehred Yorkshire swine at
!•-qraiford agricultural grounds.
The gilt went to. Art Dunsinore,
Itte 2, Stratford for $325 and
James E. Pantile, SeafOrtb, bought
the hoar for $305,
in the senior bred gilt class,
two sold for $300, George Storey,
Palmerston, sold one of these to
leent 01' 'Ford, Milton and the
ether to Robert liolman, Port
Hope.
Arnold Cook, 'BelgraVe sold
both top priced open gilts for
$205, Mr. DunsMore bought one
and the other went to john. D.
Worden, R1. 2, St. Pauls.
There were eight boars, 13
settler bred gilts, one junior
bred gilt and 15 open gilts sold
by the 22 breeders aroUnd, the,
proviece consigning, swine to the
sale. More than 6.0 interested
bidders listened to the auctione-
ers collect bids for the animals.
The average , price for the bred
.gilts was $241. and for the boars
$200.
