Regional Instittite of the Youth
and Recreation Branch, Ontario
Deprtinent of Education, held at
York University, Toronto, from
July 7th to ;July 12th, 1068.
The students attending tne
Institute have completed leaf,
and 11.1'02 courses in a Wide variety
of leisure activities and adult
education programs. They are
people who have made a good
beginning in their chosen activity
and have decided to 'prepare them-
selves for a teaching career m
their field.
Over two hundred and fifty stu-
dents from across bee province
registered for the Regional In-
stitutes. Students have a choice
of three locations: McMaster, York
and Carleton 1Thiversities. eehey
select, instruction in leisure skills
ranging from oil painting to Mil-,
]inert'. They also receive training
in teaching adults, program Plan-
ning, community organization and
philosophy of leisure.

prior to her marriage to Willis
Knight On July 26th.
The bride-elect's chair was
tastefully decorated with bells,
white and pink streamers, ballo•
ails and confetti.
Following a number of contests,
a fitting address was read by Mrs.

Barbara was presented with a
coffee table, a pair of end tables,
ail sticker, carpet sweeper, and
many other lovely gifts. Barbara
made n fitting reply inviting
everyone to her new home and
