CAPTURE
CROWN.
best-of five series in hre9
Brussels Pee WeeS ereepteethe
Staight games as they eliminated
Paisley and captured: the WOAD
Pee Wee Championship.
;Brussels completely outplayed
Paisley in the first two games
to wit by 10-4 and 10-1 scores.
But the climax came os Monday
night as the teams matched
strides for two and one hair per-
iods as they thrilled the large
crowd with many splendid plays.
But midway through the third
pet-lad the Brussels squad caught
fire and strengthened their 4-3
lead. At 12.24 Rick McDonald
scored to add that extra spark
to the Brussels bench and he
and his team-mates walked to R,
9.3 victory.
The crowd of over 100 spectat-
ors went wild as the final gong
sounded.. The local squad went
dererious as they swarmed over
goal-tender T-Iugh Nic,hol. Broad
smiles donned every face in the
rink including the gallant Pais-
ley team who showed such gteat
sportsmanship and spirit. But
the biggest smile of all could he
seen upon the face, of the happy
trussels eoaele Al Nichol, who.
guided this team to the champ-
ionship which has eluded Brus-
eaJ8 for ninny years. Cong-ratul-
