NEW POSTAL REGULATIONS
TO BE ENFORCED IN 196$
Au newspapers will be put on
what the Departinent terms the
"Count Method" whereby audi
tors from the Department will
come in and count and Classify
mailing of newspapers, all of
Which will be enforced as early
as possible in 1968.
every subscription on the list.
There are, things which must be
adhered to, such as complete
postal address, and in the ease
of large cities, the zone numbers
and apartment numbers. NOTE:
Will subscribers whose address
does not include these when nec,
essary, kindly forward them to
th6 Post as soon as possible.
Subscribers over 12 months
in arrears are of be classed as
note-subscribers and if. wailed out
will require higher postage
rates. The day of the tardy sub,
scriber is over with this ruling..
as the publisher could not pos-
sibly afford to pay the added
postage. Rembering this readerd
are asked to check on this, and
if they want the Post to ''keep
coming" their subscription must
be 'kept on. a paid-up basis:
The Post thank their many
subscribers who have already
respbbaed to thih notice by re-
newing their paper. We would(
appreciate having those who are
still In arrears attend tO this
. matter at their earliest con-
venience so we can bring our
mailing lists up to date for the
Postal Inspector.
If your post stops coming con-
tact this office but the blame
may he placed on the new postal
rogulations.
