double-ring ceremony at St.
Paul's Lutheran Church, Cowans-
town, The sanctuary of the church,
was decorated with baskets of
white gladioli and yellow mums.

The soloist, Mrs. Wald Rainer
of Scarborough, sang Wedding
Prayer and. The Lord's Prayer,
accompanied by Mrs. R. B. Geel

The bride, given in marriage by
her father; chose a sneath style
gown of white silk organza over
taffeta. The front of her dregs
and the elbow length sleeves were
trimmed with appliqued lace and
seed pearls. The chapel train
extending from a bow at the back
of the scooped neckline was ap-
pliqued with lace and her shoulder
length veil 'was held by a crepe,
and organza net rose headpiece.
The bride carried a cascade
bilunet of pinocchio ratimS and
yellow roses.
The matron Of honor was the
bride's twin sister, Mrs.. James
Vox of Brampton. The bridemaids
were Miss Elaine Robinson of
Belgrave, sister of the groom.

sister or the bride, Miss Nancy
Dncharme of Kitchener, and
Miss Diane Jones of London,
The attendants wore identically
styled floordength gowns of
yellow crepe With bodice and
elbow-length sleeveS of chantillY
lace over taffeta. Their head-

Provincial field day that was held
at. Guelph. Out of the twenty par-
ticipating- counties, Huron ranked
in the first third of the group.
The County juniors nave de-
cided to adopt a child through the.

Canada. Each club is to nay $20
and the county will pay $20 also,
It was left to the Christian Child-
ren's Fund to decide what, country
the help would be sent to:

100-FLOAT PARADE
About 3,000 persons crowded
into Belgrave Monday afternoon
for East Wawanosh Townahip's
centennial celebrations.
The main event,. a 100-float
parade, included an ox-drawn
cart, six firemen :From, 1Vinghant
rural fire department drawing an
old-time hose reel, and live Cam
ada geese. The whining float
was one entered, by Belgrave
United Church.
Also in the parade was the
queen of the township's centers-
