She was the winner of a corn- petition held by the. Canadian Government Exhibition Com- mission, producers of the train and caravans for thp Centennial Commission. Miss Lefkovitz's original sculpture is in the Con- federation Chamber of the train; exact replicas arc in each of the eight caravans. (n the centre of the sculpture is a stationary platform on which stand frock-coated figures symbol- izing the 36 Fathers of Confed- eration.
