were present, for a miscellaneous
shower at Knox Presbyterian
Church, 131nevale, Hostesses were
Mrs. Wilfred Warwick, Mrs,
Donald Chestier; Mrs. Ken John-
ston assisted by many more.
Mi's. Keith Montgomery was
hostess nt her home assisted by
Mrs. DouglaS Lapp when. Miss

RECEIVES INJURIES
IN TWO CAR CRASH
rs. ‘Villiam Krieger, of
Chatham, the former Meryl
Wesenberg, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs, George Wesel:berg of Brus-
sels narrowly escaped serious
injury, or death, in a two car
crash which sent her husband to
hospital with • serious multiple
injuries. He suffered a broken
left leg, smashed pelvis, broken
arm, internal injuries and severe
shock, In an operation on Satur-
day a pin was inserted in the
broken leg.
The collision with an Ontario
Provincial cruiser took place
Monday, Nov. 14th, east OE.
Chatham, when Mr. Kreiger was
taking the vehicle for atrial run.

meeting was turned over to Mrs,
Harold Bolger.
The initiates of the last Meet-
ing Were read by the secretary.

Mrs. Doug Praslir's side the Win-
ter, Plans were made for the
Christi-1'ms meeting with Mrs. Rae
Houston's side to look after the
lunch.
