Horticultural 'Society
.November Meeting
The November meeting of the
Brussels T-Iorticultural Society
will be held in the Public Lib-
rary on November 21st, at S p-m•
Miss Mary Realm of Wingham
will be the guest of the evening
and give a Demonstration of
plostic articles using the Christ-
i-WAS theme. Miss Heahn has al)
peered on CKNX.
Tickets will he sold on a
Christmas take.
Everyone' is welcome.
GUIDE REPORT
"A Guide Impitg was held on
November la in the library.
The meeting began with a game
of strap which was enjoyed by
alt.
Following this was camp fire
in which the Guides -sang songs.
The Guides on First Class
learned to sketch maps.The Sec.
oast Class girls worked on knots.
The Tenderfoot members were
taught the origin and beginning
of 'he Guide Company.
After the meeting Court of
Honour wee discussed.

Couple Honored On
25th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bray of
Grey Township and Mr, and
Mrs, Jaimes Davis of Lucan were
honored guests in Cranbrook Com-
munity Centre when friends,
relatives, and neighbours gathered
to celebrate their 25th wedding
4tnniverKaries. The ladies are twin
sisters.
The evening' was spent in play-
:Mg cards at the close of which
a buffett lunch was served.
During the course of the even-
ing an address was read by
Kenneth. Bray and the celebrat-
ing couples were presented with
may lovely gifts.

Mrs. Charles Davis, Wednesday,
November 9th.

revised. Mrs. James Mair, secre-
tary-treasurer gave her report
showing a balance of $30.00. There

Township. a son of the late Mr.

ing to Brussels. T-Te was a memb-
er of St. John's Anglican Church.
Surviving are nis wife, the
former Florence Scott, one son,
Clarence, Morris Township; two
daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary)
Cower, Toronto, and Mrs. Lloyd
(Helen) Wheeler; Grey Town-
ship. One daughter, Bette, pre-
deceased him in 194.2. Also stn-
