united in Marriage Catherine
Nancy Jean. 10o-berry and Albeit
George Smyth. The bride is the
daughter of the late Wni. George
Leach and Mrs. Leach of Brus-
sels and the bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and.Mrs, Edwin Smyth,
R.R. 5. Wingham,
Accompanied by Mrs. Jack
Bryans, the soloist, Mrs. Margaret
Thompson, sang The Wedding
Prayer, and I'll Walk Beside You.
The bride, given in marriage
by her Uncle Mr, Frank McGarry,
Niagara Falls, Ontario, wore a
floor length sheath of Petal Pink
Organza over taffeta featuring
a detachable train held at the
shoulders with matching bows.
The bodice and sleeves were
fashioned of lace, and her pink
bouffant elbow length veil was
held in place by a tiara of Irredes-
cent crystals; She carried a white
Bible crested with tiny' pink roses
with trailing ivy and rose buds.
Mrs. Ronald Russel, Toronto,
sister of the groom, was the bride's
matron of honor wearing an aqua-
mist floor length gown of peau
satin with Bateau neekline, lace
trimmed Empire WaiStlin and a.
flowing back, panel. Her veiled
headpiece was held by a three
tiered boW of aqua organza and
she carried a crescent of pink
chrysanthemums with trailing
ivy.
The bridesmaids, Miss Marni
Bronson, Brussels, and Miss

Doreen Smyth, sister Of the
groom, were attired identically
to the matron of honor, but car-
ried crescents of , aqua chrysan-
themums with trailing ivy.
Wm. Smyth,
British Columbia, was his broth-
er's best man.
Mr. Tom Robinson, Wingh.am,
and Constable Ronald Russel,
Toronto, ushered the guests.
For the wedding dinner in the
church parlour, the bride's mother
received. the guests wearing a
street. length sheath of Peacock
Blue arnel boucle, featuring a.-
jewelled bodice. She wore match-
ing accessories and a corsage of
white roses. The groom's mother
assisted wearing a street length
dress of Dusty Pink metallic
brocade with matching acces
S Ori GS and a corsage of white
roses.
Pink strea.mers and bells dec-
orated the parlour for the recept-
ion: The bride's table was dec-
orated with, a. three tiered wed-
ding cake, and the guests tables
were centered by arrangements
of aqua chrysanthemums and
pink tapers.
Following the wedding dinner
the guests were invited to the
evening reception at the Elm
Haven in Clinton.
For travelling, the bride Wore
a beige wool walking suit trim-
med with white fox, black patent
accessories completed her en-
semble, She wore a corsage of
gold cymbidium, orchids.

was the setting for the marriage
of Catharine Hanna and James
I,ruce Spence.
The brith, as the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John .F.-Ta.nna. of Brussels.
Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Spence of. List-
owel, are parents of the groom.
Father Mooney of St, Ambrose
Church performed the wedding
ceremony. Wedding music was
provided by Miss Y. Connelly.

her father, wore an Empire styled
flood-length gown of white peau
de sole featuring a train whiCh

corsage of baby mums.

and dandies with. lily of the valley.
