lovely wedding was solemn-
ized July !23rd, at 9.;:30 p.m. at
the Anglican Church of Our
Saviour in. Fruitland when Mildred
Emily Marie, daughter or Mrs,
Mary Hollinger and the late Mr.
Edgar Hollinger of
Fruitland became the bride of
of Mr, Larry James Schnell, son
of the late 'William, Schnell, of
Stoney Creek.
Rev. Robert Gallagher per-
formed the double ring ceremony.
The wedding music was played
by Mrs. Sylvia iPyspard and Miss
Susan Fletcher sang "Heavenly
Fa ther".
Given in marriage, by her
brother, Mr. Charles. Edgar Hol-
linger, the bride was radiant in a
floor-length gown of pean de
soie. Her mid-Victorian gown was
styled with, sweetheart neck-
line accented with lace edging and
seeded pearls, and long, finger-tip
sleeves. The gown had a fitted
waistline adorned by a large
flower in back matching that
holding the skirt in front. The
full flowing skirt extended into
a long sweeping train adorned
by appliques and lace edgings.
She wore a scalloped Jewelled
bouffant veil held in place by a
jewelled.peau de sole rose. She
carried a.. ,cross of pink sweet-
heart rosas, on a. white bible.
The Matron of honor, Mrs.
Hachey, Hamilton, ,,and
the bridesmaids, Miss Betty
Archibtild, Toronto, cousin of the
bride,,, and' Mrs. Adeline de Silver,
sister of the groom, wore full-
length gowns of pink peau de sof.
The bodice of the empire style
dresses were made of white
chantilly lace and the high
waistline gave Way to a. short
train. The girls wore matching
shoes and short .scalloped Jewel-
led veils held in place by match-
ing peon de soie roses and they
wore long white evening gloves.
They carried baskets of white
and pink carnations.
The flower' girl was little
Debbie Hollinger niece of the
bride, who wore a full length
gown of pink peau de sole which
extended frern the full flowing
skirt a short train.. The bodice
was of white lace and she wore
a veil and carried a basket ident-
cal to the bridesmaids',
Rickey Hollinger, nephew of
the bride was the ring-bearer
dressed in a white, jacket and
black pants, Mr, Brian -Wayne,
was hest man and ushers were
Mr. ,Edmond C.urno and Mr. Han,
old Clayton. all of Stoney Creek.
A reception for 150 guests Was
held at St. Gregory's Hall on
Hwy. 2a, StorieY Greek, where a
foiir tier wedding cake Centred
the bride's table.
For receiving, the !ride's
mother chose t rose crepe dress-

sessories and a corsage of white
sweetheart roses.
Assisting, the groom's mother
chose a two-piece ensemble of
light green lace with white
accessories. Her corsage was of
wh e s weetheart roses.
The bride chose a. two-piece
ensemble of pink ribbed linen
for travel. The bodice of the
empire style dress was accented
with beading and a scooped neck-
line. The three-quarter length.
empire style coat was of the
same material and adorned by a
white carnation corsage, given
by her new husband.
The newlyweds honeymooned
at "Honeymoon i-Liven" in Pen,
nyslva,nnia. On their return they
will reside in Fruitland.
Guests came from Windsor
Bruss els, Toronto, Barrie, Hamil-
ton, London, Buffalo, New York,
and Guelph.
Mrs, Marie Schnell is a niece or
-Airs. Win. Parole, Brussels and,
Mr. George Pollard, Monkton,
formerly of Brussels.
