Moved by H. J. TenPas, sec- onded by C. L. Cousins that the minutes of the meetings of July 4th and July 18th, 1966 be adopted as read. Moved by H. J. TenPas, sec- seconded by J. L. McCutcheon that the Village of Brussels ac- cepts the amount assessed by the Wingliam and District Hospital for ambulance service in the amount of $999.27, being: our share of the capital costs for a garage and the purchase of ambulances. Moved by H. 3. TenPas, sec- onded by 0, L. Cousins that ley-Law No. 1966 be introduced and read a first and second time and passed. This being a by-law adopting the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Moved by 3. te McCutcheon, seconded by I. G. Spin Around The Track Another week of racing has come and gone. :Friday night found our local number "73" at the Deleware Raceway. Jack picked up- the checkered flag in. the first race but was kept. boxed in, picking, up a fifth spot, in both the semi and feature races. 'Panelling down to Flamboro Speedway Saturday night was a little more rewarding. The first race ended with .Tack in fourth Position The semi race found Sack in first place and much to the delight of his fanS carried the checkered flag in the feature race also. This week and next Will find the crew preparing for two big races. Friday night Deleware Raceway is holding a 100 lap International and the following Saturday Aug 27. the Flamboro Speedway is holding a 150 lap International.
