During the afternoon a mock
wedding was held at which time
the bride of 60 years ago was
presented, by the family, with a
diamond and the groom prepented
her with a weeding band. The
groom was given a carved cane.
Both wore corsages given by
their great grandchildreu.
On. Monday Open House was
held for neighbours, friends and
relatives. Baskets of flowers
given by neighbours, relatives
and friends, cards of good wish-
es, and gifts surrounded the
celebrants.
Great grandchildren, Misses
Logi Paulson,, Shawn Braddiek,
and Deibbie Coultes, attended
the door and looked after the
guest book which was signed by
over two hundred.
Piesiding at the tea table,
which was decorated with a 3-tier
wedding cake surrounded by
caudleabra and yellow mums,
was Mrs. Alice Palen of Toronto,
a school chum of Mrs. Pollard,
also, Mrs. Alvin Sa.uder of Thor-
old and Mrs, Magaret Rintoul of
Galt. Serving were granddaught-
ers, Mrs. Jean Paulson, Mrs.
Sylvia Braddick, Mrs Eilizabeth
Coultes and Mrs. Ellen Pipe.
Assisting were Mrs. Archie Engel,
Mrs. Bert Bray, Mrs. Wm. Gruhe
and N'ancy, Mrs. George Mutter
and Mrs. Mel Thompson.

The bride is tae daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bolger of
Walton, and Mr. and Mr's. Irwin
Lillycrop, of Hamilton, are the
parents of the groom,

bridal gown of white French
Peau de soie. The bodice was
;highlighted by a i bateian neck.-
line, empire waist and bell.

delicate ,Swiss Guipure lace. Her
French silk illusion fingertip veil

Miss Jean Bolger attended her
sister as maid-of-honor, Mrs. Ada
Haasnoot, G-orrie, and Mrs.
Doreen Lillycrop, London, sister.
in-law of the bridegroom, were
bridesmaids. They were dressed
alike in floor-length gowns of
mint green peau de sole. Scooped
necklines and short sleeves
made way for the empire waist
which was touched with a band
of Guipure lace and tiny bow.
Trains fell from the waist at the
back. Their mint green rosette
headpieces had cocktail veils.
They carried cresents of white
mums.
Miss Cheryl Lillycrop, niece
of the groom, was flowergirl.
She was dressed in a short
dress of white crystal charm
with green peau ae soile cum-
merbund. She carried a nosegay
of white mums centred with a
pink rose.
Master Brian Lillycrop -,nep-
hew of the groom, was the ring-
bearer.
Sohn Lillycrop, of London, was
his brother's groomsman. Guests
were ushered by Larry Bolger,
brother of the bride and Edward
Lillycrop, Hamilton, brother of
the groom.
The wedding dinner was served
in the church parlour with the
reeeptiort in the Legion Hall in.
Brussels.
The bride's mother, Mrs.
Harold Bolger, received the
guests in a pale pink crepe
dress with lace top, matching hat
and white a.ccessories. Her cor-
sage was Milk carnations.

of the grooiai, who Wore
a dress of blue silk linen with
matching Jacket, White aeces-
soriea and white carnation cor-
sage.
For her wedding trip the bride
