Division of the Brussels Agri-
culturcal Society are now avail-
able for distribution.

able, the Ontario application will
be heard by the 13BG in June. A
major consideration of the depart-
ment now is that it must present a
complete picture of the proposed
operation of the network to the
Board' including an outline of
the qualifications of the staff
who will run it.
The Attorney ,General, Arthur
Wisher% has presented his con,
.sumer protection legislation but
its main provisions will not come
into effect for a year. However a
consumer protection bureau will
be establisned this yea under
the Department of Financial awl
Consumer affairs.
The Consumer Protection Act
which requires disclosure of tne
cost, of borrowing in terms of true
annual interest will be given ap-
proval in principle at this session
and then referred to the consum-
er protection bureau for a year.
The main provisions, of the Con-
sumer Protection. Act are:
1. The registration of door to
door sellers.
2. A 2-day cooling off period in
which a purchaser can get out
of a contract he has made with
a door to door seller.
3. A provision that goods sold
under a time payment contract
can be seized only by Court
Order after % of the contract
has been paid.
4. A standard form in. which
sellers or lenders must set out
the ,costs of credit in terms
of dollars and annual percent-
age for both standard and re-
volving credit plans.

In spring, a young girl's fancy
turns to - - a new wardrobe and,
Huron County Homemaking
Club Girls are prepared to meet
the season with original hats,
tie-dyed scarves and matching
purses which they have learned
to make from. their project "Ac-
cent On Accessories". The ele-
ments of style, colour co-ordin-
ation and the proper accessories
was studied and each girl is pre-
paring now to demonstrate her
knowledge and model her new
accessories at one of the Your
Achievement Days to be held in
the County.
These will take place in:
Winghata, Saturday, May 28th,
1966, Wingham District. High
School.
Howick, Thursday, June 30th,
1966, Ho-wick Central School.
An invitation to attend the
afternoon programme is extended
to all friends who are interested
in 4-11 Homemaking Club work
to see the skits, exhibits, and
demonstrations presented by the
club girls.
