The main provisions, of the Con- sumer Protection. Act are: 1. The registration of door to door sellers. 2. A 2-day cooling off period in which a purchaser can get out of a contract he has made with a door to door seller. 3. A provision that goods sold under a time payment contract can be seized only by Court Order after % of the contract has been paid. 4. A standard form in. which sellers or lenders must set out the ,costs of credit in terms of dollars and annual percent- age for both standard and re- volving credit plans.
