The bride was griven in mar-
riage by her father. Reverend Dr.
R. Clark of TeeSivater United
Church officiated.
The bride wore a floor-length
gown of white peau de sole,
scalloped, around the bottom, in-
laid with French Chantilly lace
and a scooped neckline. Her

in place by a crown of white seed
pears and sequins. Shp carried a
boquet of red roses on a white
bible.
The maid of, honor was her
sister, Lana Renwick. Teeswater.

gowns of peau de soie and car-
ried baskets of yellow mums,
descending on gpitten chains. Tile
flower girl was dressed in a
white floor-length gown similar
to that. of the bride.
Best man was Douglas David-
son, brother of the groom. The

walking suit of Kliarney green
With matching corsage of yellow
and white mums.
The groom's mother was lovely
in a three-piece suits of turquoise
blue linen, and a corsage of pink
and white mums.
B,eeause and Wedding Prayer

Vinghsin. He was accompanied
at the organ by Gordon Davidson,
also of Wingham.

merly of Walton, died at, the
home or his son in Blyth, on
Saturday night.
lie farmed in the. Walton area
for many years. Following the
death of his wife lie made his
home with his son.
He is survived by one son,
Kenneth, of 43lyth; one daughter,
Mrs. John (May)`King of Sarnia;
three sisters. Mrs. Annie Forsyth,
14s. Mary Stephenson, and Mrs.
Hanna Williamson, all of Brus-
sels; and one brother, Harry
Jackson ,of .Cranbroux.
The funeral service was held
from the D. A. Rann funeral
home, Brussels,at 2 p.m. ou Mon-
day. The service was conducted
by Rev. Arthur Higginbotham of
Duff's United Church, ;Walton.
Burial was in Brussels cemetery.

Helen Elliott conducted a medi-
tation on a description of The
warden and the .P.)mpty Tomb
which was followed by prayer
offered by Mary.
The topic "Living In. Expect-
ancy' was given by Isobel Gibson
an expressed as its main theme,
"If by His power the creeping
worm can send forth gorgeous
wings and explore the sky then
I too, shall rise into newness of
life,
The business was conducted by
the president, Aileen Mutter, and
refreshments served by the com-
mittee Mary, Helen and Isobel.
Walton Student Wins
United Nations Trip
The United Nations Committee
of the Oddfellows Lodges of
Huron District No. S and the.
Rebekah. Lodges of Huron Dist-
rict No. 23 held their joint pro-
poet for the purpose' of selecting
a student to be their delegate to
send to Nev York and the
'United Nations. It is an expense
free trip for the winner of the
public spea,king contest. The
contest was held in the Clinton
. Secondary School.
There were four contestants,
Pamela King, Wingham High
School; Jelin White and Sharon:
Kirkey of Goderich High School
and Joanne Elligsen a. strident of.
Sea forth High School, who was
the winner.

Walton.

had accepted an invitation to
take part.
