The bride. wore u floor length
empire gown of white duchess
satin with matching chapel train,
A white satin bandeau headpiece
secured her shoulder length tulle
veil trimmed with guipure lace.
.Guipure lace also enhanced her
gown and train and sae carried a
trailing boquet of deep pink roses
and white fresias.
The maid of honor, Miss. Joan
Restall of Riverton, New Zealand,
and Miss Lois Day, as bridesmaid
and. Soloist, were both gowned
in peacock blue duChess satin
similar to the Dodo and carried
shell pink roses and white fresias.

Education Minister William
Davies announced a $'5,700,00
sai y and loan program to help
all university bound students on
the basis of need.
The bursaries will he available
to any student who is accepted
for a program of studies at a
University or other nest-secondary
institution.
The $400 Ontario Scholarships
which are a.warded students who
average above 80% in eight, grade
13 departmental examinations
will be, continued this year and
next.
The scheme to he called the
Province of Ontario Student
Award Program, will go Into
effect this year,
The first $150 in the ,Student
Awiirds Program will be covered
by a Federal student loan. The
rest will be covered by a combiti-
atiicin provincial grants and
federal loans. It is expected that
40% of the assistance will be in
the form of grants and 60% in
loans. For instance a student who
needed $1500 to attend University
on top of what his parent?) could
pay and what he would earn from
summer or part-time work would
get a $640 provincial bursary and
an $860 federal loan,
This week saw between 1600 •
1800 Ontario farmers march oa
Queen's Park to demand higher
prices for farm prodticts. The
march was organized by the
Ontario Farm Union, The group
assembled at Ryerson Polytech-
nical Institute Auditorium to read
a Briet setting the demands.
However, Government Officials
failed to appear at the meeting
which led to the march on Glue.
en's Park. The group continually
demanded to hear from Agricul,
aural Minister Wm. Stewart. After
about 15 minutes Mr. Stewart
appeared. His first words were,
