sisters, Mrs. Wm, (Lilly) Huff.

Tue tuneral was held on Feb-
ruary 1st„ 1966, from Noble S.
Crowe funeral home, Thorold.
Interment was in Overholt, Cem-
etery, near ,Port Colborne. Rev.
K. E. Warren officiated. The Pall-
bearers were neighbous and fellow
workers, Messrs. MacIntyre,
Sauve, Wallace, Rigby, Fraser
.and Thomas. Many beautiful
.floral tributes -were received as
well as several contributions to
the Heart. Fund.

The Walton Women's Insti-
tute met in the, Community Hall
with the president, Mrs. Roy Wil-
liamson in charge of the business
portion of the meeting.
The newly-appointed members
of the nominating committee
are: Mrs. Donald Buchanan, Mrs.
Torrance pandas, Mrs. James
McDonald, Mrs. Jan van Vliet.
Jr. and Mrs. Nelson Reid.
Mrs. George McCall was ap-
pointed delegate to the confer.
ence at Guelph in May.

committee for the first euchre
party. The second party will be
in charge of Mrs. Ray Huether,

Donald and Mrs. George Pollard.
Mrs. Jan 'van Viiet Jr. and
Mrs. Stewart Humphries an-
nounced plans for this month's
visit to Hurofiview.
There was a discussion of
virus for the fashion show being
;held the end of this month.
Mrs. Wm. Humphries, who
presided for the remainder of
the meeting, led a sing-song
with Mrs. H. Travis at the piano..
Mrs. Stanley Brfcle of Fordwich,
whO was the guest speaker, was
introduced by MTS. Frank Walt-
ers. Mrs, Bride described the
wider organization and work of
the Institute tinder the ACWW*
The speaker Was thanked by Mrt.
Donald Buchanan who also spoke
brietly about resolutions.
A display of work by the 441,
Girls' ClUb WaS ShOWn. Brenda
Beverley) and 'Karen McDonald
Biever1y, and Karen McDonald,
who gave the commentary, were
introduced by Mrs. N. Reid.
A contests on brand names
was followed by lunch served by
Mrs. Allan McCall, Mrs. Ray
Huether, Mrs. Mac Sholdice and, 1
Mrs. Frank Walters.
