and Mrs. A. McTaggart. The
officers conference in .Guelph in
May was discussed and a letter
read from. Mrs. Everett Small,
the new president for Ontario. It
was agreed to increase the sun-
shine givings. Arrangements were
made for making Sandwiches for
the dart club. Nursing Houle
Visitors for February are ,Mrs.
Mac McIntosh and Mrs. Stealer.

met in the church parlour for the
February meeting on Friday
afternoon.
Mrs. Gerald Gibson, who was
convenor of the prograin, opened
the meeting and read a poem,
"The Races of the Earth". Mrs.
Evans read the scripture pas-
sages which were the basis of the
new study "Missions — The
Christian's
Mrs. Gibson headed a most in-
teresting discussion on the topic
"Called for a P,urpose". Audience
participation was 'invited and
received. The history of the
Israelites was traced, verse by
Terse, as they travelled from
Egypt to Canaan. Mrs. Gibson
added a summary and was assist-
ed by Mrs. Orwell Elliott, Mrs.
George Elliott and Mrs. James
