Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ebel of
Ingersoll were week-end visitors
in Brussels.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Perrie were
in Toronto last week to attend the
funearl of the late Mr. George
Pollard. Mr. Pollard was one of
Weston's oldest residents. He was
in. his 97th year. He was the oldest
OddlelloW in Ontario and a
-founder of the Weston, Baptist
churcn wmcn started in 1909, and
a promoter of the organization
of the Weston Volunteer Fire
Brigade. Service was held in the
Ward funeral home. Rev. Alva S.
Robin of Weston Baptist church
officiated.

ASSOCIATION DISCUSS
FUTURE PLANS
More than. sixty members of the
Clinton Liberals Association re-
viewed the November election and
discussed future plans at a din-
ner meeting in Hotel Clinton
Wednesday evening.
Mai t, Eidgar, of Clinton, the
Liberal candidate in Huron. in
the election, recalled campaign
highlights and expressed apprec-
iation for the support given him
by the association.
During the evening a short
musical program, arranged by
Robert Mann and Clarence Den-
time, was featttred. Mr. Dennome
was chairman for the proceed-
ings.
