LETTER TO THE EDITOR
(continued from page one)
they were to split the $3, 500 three
ways, Grey pays one third, Brus-
sels one third and Morris one
third, and add it to the taxes, it
would only mean 50c to $1.00 per
family, maybe, or even less, be-
cause, after all, it is these oom-
munity involved, and then every-
one pays, not just the same old,
reliables. Next is the wading
pool. It is a joke. Why didn't they
get organized a bit better and go'
one step farther and build a
swimming pool and have some-
thing when done? If a job is
worth doing, it is
worth doing right, not just half.
At nomination not too long ago
it was ridiculous, only 18 or 20
people attended, they say, No-
in this and yet we should. It is
in this and yet we should. It lis
our money they are spending, not
somebody else's. Yet, when the
Town. Fathers do something, we
sit back and grumble, gossip, and
swear they should do this, or that,
what are they doing that for, it
isn't necessary we don't need
the:. done, and so on, but when
something like nomination comes
up nobody shows up, except a
handful, to air their 'views or to
try to find out what is going on
in our town, and yet we sit back
and pick holes, and find fault not
on13, with the Town ?ethers but
with everything going on.
So I think that we All Should
Dig In and Help. Get our clubs
and committees well organized
and keep the ball rolling year
round so that we will have the
Prettiest and Best Village in
Ontario and not the Deadest or
Prettiest Ghost Town. That's what
will eventually happen if we all
don't do our share to make this a
better community in which we
live.
