The uncle wore a iluur-length
gown of lace over taffeta featur-
ing a lace back panel and full-
length lily-point sleeves. A crown
of pearls secured her waist-length
veil and she carried a cascading
boquet of red Sweetheart roses.

son, Listowel and bridesmaids
Joan and Jean Bauer, Brussels,
sisters of the bride, wore dres-
ses of blue nylon organza styled
with full pleated skirts and. fit-
ted bodices with, beil-shaped.
Sleeves. Matching head-bands
held their veils of blue nylon and
they carried boquets of White
carnations and tinted. blue chry-
santhemums.

Cheryl Bauer, Brussels, sister
of the bride, and Beverley Ward,
Monkton, nieee of the bride,
were flower-girls. wearing frocks
of blue nylon organza over taffeta
with large waist bows. Their head-,
pieces Were crowns of b1;,:e flowers
and they carried baskets of V•rhite
and blue chrysanthemunis and
pink sweetheart rOsell.
Robert Wilson, RR 8. Listowel,
served as best nun while Kicith
Brietow, Aliso of RR 8, LiStoWeie

Brussels Royal Canadian Legion-
Hall. She was assisted by the
bridegroom's mother wearing a
deep blue ensemble with match-
ing accessories and corsage of
pink and white chrysarnannums.
For her wedding trip .0 North-
ern. Ontario the bride chose a two-
piece white suit with red acces-
sories and a corsage of red
Sweetheart roses.

CRASH NEAR WINGHAM
KILLS FIVE, INJURES FIVE
Five persons in one family
were killed and five others were
injured, one seriously, in a two-
car, head-on crash. Sunday on
Highway 86 at the Zetland Bridge
two miles east of Wingham.
Dead are: John Alexander
MacDonald, 78 his two daughters,
Miss Florence Sean, 57 and Miss
Margarette, 52: his son, Thomas
Nelson MacDonald, 53, all of ,I
Eucknovr; and his son-in-law,
Robert Thomas Smith, of Sault
Ste.
Three died at the scene of the
accident. Mr. §mith died in
London's St. 1J osePirs hospital,
about eight hours after the ac-
cident and iViiss Margarette Mc-
Donald died Monday in Victoria
Hospital, London.
Mr. Smith's wife, Ettabelle.,
41, is in fair condition in St.
Joseph's Hospital with two brok-
en legs, chest injuries, and lacer-
ations.
H. Craig Hilliard, 18, of WU-
lowdale, is in St. Michaels Hos-
pital, Toronto, in serious condit-
ion with extensive head injuries,
lacerations and a broken leg.
William G. Westlake, 20, and
Carolyn Adair, 18, both. of Willow-
dale, are, both in fair condition
in Wingham and District Hos-
pital with knee and leg lacer-
ations.
The Westlake youth was the
driver of one car with the Hil-
liard youth and Miss Adair pas-
sengers. The car wan owned• by
Craig Hilliard.
Mr. Smith was the driver of the
other car. ti
John Alexander 'MacDonald
was a retired sawmill operator.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith were on
liolidlys.
The accident happened at
about 1:30 p.m. at the approach,
to the span over the Maitland
River. Highway 86 is a two-lane
highway at that point.
The youths were on the way
to the drag races at Grand Bend.

relatives attending.
