WALTON U.E.W. meeting
The Jinn° meeting of the Walton
UCW, held in the schoolroom of
Duff's Church was attended by
thirty one ladies.
The devotions were conducted
by Mrs. Wn. Coutts who opened
the meeting with the singing of
"0 Master Let Me Walk With
Thee". Mrs. Ray 1.1kietner pre-
sided at the piano. The reading of
a poem "Life's Lesson.", and
the scripture from. Psalm 12, by
;Mrs Coutts, was followed by
meditation and prayer by MI'S.
Barry Marshall. The hymn Trom
Ocean Unto Ocean" was sling.
Mrs. Arthur Higginbotham gave
the topic on "Brazil and also
showed a film on "The Ch=urch
at 'Work in 13razil."
Mrs. Allan McCall had charge
of the business period and opened
:with the poem "Cod'S Holy
Realm." Mrs. Ronald Bennett
read the Mintttes of the previous
meeting. A missionary was nam-
ed in response to the roll call.
The treasurer's report was pre-
sented by Mrs. Walter Bewley.
Mrs. Ray H'uether and Mrs.
Herbert Traviss, leaders of the
copper contest, reported ,$143.5ll
collected.
The offering received by Mrs.
Bewley. was dedicated by MI'S.
McCall.
