CHILD SAFETY DAY
Children have an incredible
ability to get hurt or killed. Some-
times it is the child's own fault
but more often the responsibility
is an adult's whose neglect allow-
ed the aceident to happen.
Traffic accidents involving

An interesting Easter meeting
was held in the church parlour
April 20th, with twenty-one
members and visitors present.
The table was decorated with
appropriate Easter symbols.
Ruth Pipe opened the meeting
with. a seasonal poem. "Jesuit
Keep Me Near The Cross" was
sung. Shirley Pipe favoured the
ladies with several piano accord-
ion selections.
The scripture lesson from John
21: 1 - 14 was read in unison. A
very inspirational address pre.
pared by Miss Bessie Moses
describing the last eight days Of
Jesus life on earth was read by
Muriel Shortreed.
