In 1964, in adition to the six
places provided for the Canadian
Zone, Al Balding and George
.Knudson qualified for the Carl-
ini World through their play on
the- official P.G.A. of America
tour to bring the Canadian con-
tingent to a total of eight. For
1965, 'Knudson has already quali-
fied by virtue of winning the
Fresno Open in calfornia /ast
Fall, and also placing in the low
fifty money winners for 1964.

place in the. World Championship
must file a separate entry form
and fee with the Carling World
Golf headquarters. Each entry
innst be tiled prior to playing in
one of the five qualifying events
and be subject to eligibility reg-
nations gOverning the champion-
ship, One of these requirements
is that Canadian entrants must be
members in good standing, of the
Canadian Professional Golferg
Association. The Canadian golfers'
