Flowers were 'placed in the
church on Sunday by the family
of the late John J. Gorsalitz, in
his memory.
Mrs. James Noble received
worst of the death of her brother,
Andew C. Campbell, in Guelph on
Saturday. Mr. Campbell lived in
Stratford until moving to Guelph.
18 years ago to live with his son,
Forrest L. CanIpbell. Surviving
are his son, Forrest, two sisters,
Mrs. Jas. Noble and Mrs. Jean
Osborne, Mitchell, and a brother.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim tAnight and
Mrs. Elsie Knight, Listowel, were
in ;Buffalo on Friday, when Mrs.
Bob Caryl (nee Berva. Knight)
received her Bachelor of Science
Degree.' They also visited in
Silver Springs, New York.
Knox Church WMS
The February meeting of the
WMS was held at the home of
the president, Mrs, Earl Dunn,
with an attendance of nine
members. The leader, Mrs. Stan-
ley Fischer, using, the theme
"Missions on. Our Doorstep"
opened the meeting with prayer
and the singing of Psalm 1. She
also read front Galatians 6: 2 - 10
and Ephesians 4. 1 - 16 was read
alternately. A reading "Lord
teach us to pray" was given by
Mrs. Earl Dunn. The Glad Tidings
prayer and "History of the. Wo-
man's Missionary Society (E.D.)
— Part 1 — 1876-1916 as printed
in the February issue, was given
by Mrs, Mac Engel. The leader
read "How do you like your
neighbours? and a .poem "Faith",
followed by prayer. Miss Alice
S. Forrest gave an introduction
to the new study "Let's look at
our at Ourselves", program 1. A
brief period of discussion was
held and a dialogue was given by
Mr. John Perrie and Mrs. Mae
Engel. Notes on this were taken
by the other members, answer-
ing why this woman in the dia-
logue joined the WMS. Miss
Forrest then read 'Worries" by
Robert J. Burdett. The business
was conducted by the president.

containing "love". The 'day of
Prayer service was discussed
and members appointed to take
part. Mrs. Strickler will be
hostess for the March meeting.
A poem "Love" was read by the
leader, who also pronounced the
Benediction following the closing
hymn. Mrs. Alex Steiss and Mrs
Wilfred Strickler assisted the
