1965 CORVAIR CORSA
4TAIrt:;
Unique and sensationally new — the styling of the 1965 Corvair — typified here in the Corsa
Sport Coupe with hardtop styling that appears in all five closed models this year. The new
.COrsa Series replaces the Monza Spyder. The all-new Corvair is lower, wider and longer with
new ride and power poised on new wider treads, The lines of the all-new body are clean and
uncluttered with curved side windows used for a slimmer appearance and more shoulder
room. Inside, the instrument panel, steering wheel, stylish trim, heater and defroster, two-key
loCking system and easier-operating doorS are all new. New hubcaps and wheel trim covers
complete the all-new exterior. Corvair's new ride and power this year is produced by a new
body,-frame, Corvette-type articulating link independent rear suspension, modified front sus-
pension and modified steering system. It means sports car handling and manoeuvrability with
increased stability. The CorVair for '65 is offered' in three series and seven Models.

Figures released by FCC chair,
man George Owen show that 9,647

were appreved in the that nine
110W in itOck months of the current, fiscal year,
This conwates with 8,284 loans
totalling $102 million in the same
period in 1963, an increase of
over 16 per cent in the number of
loans and a record increase of 43
per cent in the amount lent.
Three main reasons are given
for the upsurge in, lending:
e. increased awareness by
farmers of the credit and. Services
provided by the Corporation.
2. Recognition by farmers Of the
value of credit in developing
soup :._ farm business.
3. .aierease in loan ceilings
effective in June 1964. Since mid-
/
summer, over 1,000 loans have
been made in excess of previous
loan limits.
There is every indication, says
Mr. Owen, that there will contin-
ue to be a strong demand for
loans under the Farm Credit. Act
in 1965.

NOT MUCH OF A LAYMAN
Years ago when the minister
came to call at the farm, it was
usual to kill a chicken and pre-
pare a chicken dinner for him.
Well, this day the minister called
and the usual happened. The big,
bronze rooster found his wife,
Biddy weeping i copiously in the
corner and asked "dha.t's wrong."
"The minister has arrived and
they have taken our son." "Well,"
said the roostex, "I. don't think
that is so bad, Our sou has en-
tered the ministry and I really
don't think ne would have made
a very good layman anyway.
LETTER TO THE EDITOR
The Edit,or,
The Brussels Post
Dear Sir:
The sincere appreciation of the
Board of Directors of the Child-
ren's Aid Society of Huron County
goes out to all who helped 'to
make the Christmins Bureau such.
a splendid success for 1964.
One hundred and four homes
were visited and more than three
hundred children were given a
happy Christmas through the
generosity of many individuals
and organizations.
Early and careful Plattaing
September and October, prepar-
ing and packing boxes in Novem-
ber for delivery the first week
in December, is the only way the
Board can be sure there are tee
disappointed children.
They would once again then
impress on all generous folk the
necessity for having all contri-
butions in, during the month of
November.
Yours sincerely,
F4 D. Fingland,
Publicity Convenor 0.A.S.
