Knox. Church WMS Meeting
The January meeting of the
Woraen's Missionary Society of
Knox Presbterian Church was
held at the home of Mrs. John
Perrie. Mrs. ,Wilfred, Strickler,
leader, opened the meeting with
a New Year's message. Mrs. Alex
Steiss presided at the piano in
the absence of Mrs. Whitfield.
Mrs. John Perrie read a prayer
which. Mrs. Nelson had prepared
while a member in Cranbrook.
Psalms 23 and 100 were read in
unison. A New Year's reading
was given by the leader. The
business was conducted by Mrs.
Earl Dunn. The minutes were
road and the roll called. Eleven,
members responded with inter-
esting and some amusing New
Year resolutions. Reports were
given by the secretary and treas-
urer. Plans were made to attend
tile annual meeting or Maitland
Presbyterial in Luckuow on Jan.
12. The World Day of Prayer to'
be held on March Oth was also
discussed. Hints for the annual.
Bazaar were given to all present.
The New Year's topic, pre-
pared by Miss Alice J. Forrest,
was read by Mrs. Mac Engel. The
meeting' closed with a New
Year's poem, a hymn, and the
1V4zpah Benediction. The lunch
committee, ,iVirs. Allan Smith and
Mrs. Fred Smalldon assisted Me
hostess in serving lunch. Mrs.
Earl Dunn will be hostess for the
ebruary meeting,

AGRICULTURAL CLUB
LEADERS ANNUAL IA e-E. oNci
The Huron County 4-H Agri-
cultural Club Leaders Association
will meet at the Ontario Depart-
ment of Agriculture, Clinton, on
Monday, January 18th at 11:00.
Lixecutive .officers will be
elected and following the noon
dinner at the Hotel Clinton, plans
will be discussed for the 1965
Club program.
Last year there were 54 4-H.
Agricultural. Club leaders and 47.5
441 projects in Huron County.
