A New York honeymoon folloW-
ed the marriage of Elizabeth
Jane Oiashehee and Douglas.

scene of the wedding and Rev.
Fred J, Roberts officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William Gashches,
94 Barrie St., Galt and the groom
is the son of Mrs. Edna Callander
of Brussels, Ont.
Soloist, Mrs. George McNeill
Jr. of Detroit sang 'The Lord's
Prayer" and "0 Lord Most
Holy," accompanied by organist
of First United Church, H. Ur-
stadt.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor-
length, A-line gown of nylon
tulle over taffeta. A full-length
lace train fell from shoulder
bows on the lace bodice. A lace
tiara adorned with tiny crystals,
held a shoulder:length; liti•elich•
scalloped, net face veil. She car-
ried white roses and ivy.
;Maid of honor was Miss Ariel
Felker of Montreal and. Miss .
Heather Henderson of Sheffield
was senior bridesmaid. Junior
bridesmaids were Miss June
Gashches, Galt, sister of the I
bride, and Miss Debbie Callander,
of Brussels, sister of the groom.
The attendants wore identical
dresses of light razing blue 'peau
de sole. Ail carried baguets or'
daisies with yellow netting. For,
their headresses, tau wore pill-
box hats of blue pea,u de soie
and light blue net veils.
Lyle, Bons of Kitchener was
groomsman. Ushers were David.
Kreuter, Brussels, Glarles Arnold,
of Galt,, and Ronald IVInich of
Brantford.
For the reception at the Iro- I
(viols Hotel, the bride's mother
received in a dress of pink bra
cage lame and matcning acces-
sories. An autumn haze mink,
stole and a corsage of pink
sweetheart roses complemented.

The groom's mother wore a
beige, chiffon. sheath dress, mat-
ching accessories, a dark mink
stole, and a corsage of orange
delight roses.
For the honeymoon, the bride
chose a cranberry red suit with
a matching hat, blacks shoes
purse and gloves. A corsage or
white carnations accented her,
outfit.
Following the honeymoon, the
newlyweds will reside in Brus-
sels.
Out-of-town-guests arrived from
Detroit, ,Motdreal, PeterboroUgh•
Ayr, Kitchener, Brussels, Blen-
heim, Watford, and Grimsby.

meeting of the Women's iVlission-
ary Society. The leader, AIM
Mac Engel, opened with the call
to worship. The prayer from
"Glad Tidings', was given by
Mrs. Alex Steiss and PorlDture
readings by Mrs. Cliff Bray and
Mrs. Jahn Ferris. The leader
read a poem followed by the topic
°The Changing City Challa,nges
The Church". This was arranged
by Mrs. Veitch in form of a panel.
The committee taking part were.

Mrs. Allan Suilth. A brief discus-
sion took place atter this inter-
esting presentation IVIrs. Earl
Dunn, president, conducted the
business and read a letter from
Mrs. Efdwin tr. Nelson who
moved to Valleyfield, Queb., in.
May. The roll call was answered
by ten members with a remem-
brance verse. Miss. Alice J.
Forrest read from Romans 5: 1-
11 and the meditation and prayer
were given by Mrs. angel. A
Riemetini.brance reading ''What
Mean These Stones" was read
by Mrs. Earl Dunn. Following the
singing of a hymn the leader
closed the meeting with prayer
and conducted a Bible quiz. Mrs.
Earl Dunn assisted the hostess
in serving refreshments. The
December meeting will be held
at the home of, Mrs. Alex Steiss.

AREA NO. 2 MEETING
Grey Township School Area
No. 2 Board held its regular
November' 9th meeting in the
Walton Public School at 8.30 p.m.
with all members present.
It was decided to contact the
,architect regarding the discolour-
ation of certain sections of the
school brick.
The following accounts as pre-
sented were authorized for pay-
